Yes, in 2016 when the Zika virus hit the US. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Zika virus report said it was spread more through physical contact.

Also, a woman may have become pregnant by having sexual intercourse with a person infected with the Zika virus. The unborn baby can also get infected. Experts believe that it is dangerous for the unborn baby.
