Focusing on the upcoming festive season, e-commerce companies have focused on expanding their transport network and warehouses along with hiring seasonal employees. Therefore lakhs of seasonal jobs will be available in the country.
Amazon India has announced the opening of three new fulfillment centers in Delhi NCR, Guwahati and Patna. This will increase the speed of home delivery in North and East India. This investment will benefit more than 2.5 lakh vendors in these states.

The company said that the increase in economic turnover in the region will lead to the creation of more jobs. Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Hemanta Biswa Sarma has also expressed his belief that the economy will also benefit from this initiative of Amazon. Currently, the company has 2000 centers in 19 states in the country and has partnered with Indian Railways and Department of Posts for fast transportation.
