Team India: A former Indian cricketer has released a list of who he thinks could get a chance in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024 tournament in June.

Manjrekar also spoke to Star Sports and announced the list of who he thinks could get a chance in the Indian team. However, some of the hot players like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill and Shivam Dubey have not been given a chance in the Indian team they have selected.

Manjrekar has chosen Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal as the opening pair. Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul have also been selected in the team.
At the same time, they have also given opportunity to all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and have selected Rishabh Pant as the wicket-keeper. Apart from this, KL Rahul can also be an option for wicketkeeping.
Among the bowlers, he has picked experienced players like Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, along with Avesh Khan, Mayank Yadav and Krunal Pandya who have impressed in IPL 2024. Mayank has grabbed everyone’s attention in IPL 2024 with his speed. He has also bowled the fastest ball of this IPL season.
While announcing the team, Manjrekar said that it is very difficult to make the selection, as there are many talented players in the country at present. Especially after IPL you get many options. But I give it a try.
