Rules Changing From 1 March 2024

On the first day of every month, many money related rules are changing which directly affects your pocket. Many rules are going to change from 1st March 2024. Many rules like FASTag to GST are going to change from tomorrow. Let’s know about these rules.

LPG price

LPG prices are fixed on the first of every month. Oil companies fix domestic commercial gas cylinder prices on the first of every month.

Companies are expected to increase the prices of commercial cylinders. The price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG gas cylinder is Rs 1053 in Delhi, Rs 1052.50 in Mumbai, Rs 1055.50 in Bengaluru, Rs 1068.50 in Chennai.

Bank holidays for 13 days

Banks will remain closed for 14 days in March. These 14 days holidays include all Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays as well. In other words, apart from the weekly holidays, banks will be closed for eight days due to the festival.

Banks will not remain closed for 14 days simultaneously in all states of the country. These holidays will be on different days in different states. Banks will remain closed only in states where there are holidays. In the month of March, banks will be closed due to festivals like Shivratri, Holi and Good Friday.

Fastag

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has fixed February 29 as the last date for updating KYC of FASTag. That is, complete the KYC of your FASTag today. Otherwise National Highways Authority of India can deactivate or blacklist your FASTag.

The New Rules of Social Media

The government has recently made changes in the IT norms. Social media apps like X, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram will have to follow these rules. From the month of March, any news circulating on social media with wrong information can be penalised. The government aims to keep social media safe.

Changes in GST Rules

The central government has made major changes in the GST rules. GST rules are changing from 1st March 2024. Now businessmen doing more than 5 crore business cannot generate e-bill without e-invoice. This rule will be implemented from Friday.
