Team India’s squad for first two Tests against England News

BCCI announced the Indian squad for the first two matches of the five Test series against England.

Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara were left out of the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team. At the same time, young wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan, who is out of the team, has also not got a place in this team.

However, the selection committee has surprised everyone by giving a chance to Uttar Pradesh wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel, who will be a part of Team India’s dressing room for the first time. Shreyas Iyer also remains in the team.

The 5 Test series between India and England will start from January 25 and will continue till March 11. In view of the long series, BCCI has announced the squad for the first and second Tests only. The first test match will be played in Hyderabad from January 25 and the second test match will be played in Visakhapatnam from February 2.
