Voting for the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections in the country has started today i.e. from 19th April. Air India Express in the country has made a big announcement to promote the polls.

The airline will offer special discounts on tickets for first-time voters (18-22 years). People who are going home to vote for the first time will get a discount of up to 19 percent on airfare.

Air India Express had announced the launch of #VoteAsYouAre campaign to make people aware about voting. Under this campaign, the airlines are offering discounts to youth between the ages of 18 and 22 who will be exercising their franchise for the first time.

A statement released by the company said that the voter will get this discount to travel to the nearest airport of the respective constituency. This discount will be available only from 18 April to 1 June 2024. Discount tickets can be booked through the airline’s mobile app and website https://www.airindiaexpress.com

Air India Express CEO Ankur Garg says that Air India Express has always worked for change in society. The company is gearing up for its 19th anniversary. In such an environment, the company has launched its special initiative #VoteAsYouAre campaign.

Voter ID must be shown for the offer

To avail this Air India Express offer, ground staff need to show your voter ID card. Customers will have to show their voter ID card while getting their boarding pass at the airport.

Company service at 31 locations across the country

Tata Group’s airline Air India Express flies to 31 destinations in India. These include Amritsar in Punjab, Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Imphal in Manipur, Indore, Jaipur in Madhya Pradesh, Kannur in Kerala, Kochi and Kozhikode, Kolkata, Lucknow, Srinagar, Ranchi, Pune, Mumbai, Varanasi etc.
