Lok Sabha Election 2024: The Central Election Commission has released the polling statistics till 6 pm and it has been said that 60.03 percent voting has taken place.

for the first phase in 102 constituencies across 21 states of the country was held peacefully today. Almost 60 percent of voters exercised their right to vote. Except for minor incidents of violence in the two states of West Bengal and Chhattisgarh, the process was carried out peacefully everywhere. More than 25 people are reported to have been injured in the violence in Bengal.
The Samajwadi Party alleged that there was an attempt to take over the voting station in the Muzaffarnagar constituency of Uttar Pradesh. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Kiren Rijiju, Jitendra Singh, Arjunram Meghwal, Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi, Karti Chidambaram, DMK leader K. Kanimoli, A. Raja’s fate was sealed in the ballot box. As the heat of summer increased, it was also seen to affect the voting percentage.
First phase of polling ends. Overall voting percentage in 102 constituencies till 5 pm is 59.71%.

Lowest voting in Bihar : 46.32%
Rajasthan : 50%
Maharashtra : 54%

The Central Election Commission has released the voting data till 6 pm and it has been said that 60.03 percent voting has been done. It has been revealed that 55.29 percent voting in the five Lok Sabha constituencies of Maharashtra. This figure is less than the total voter turnout in the country. In East Vidarbha, voters avoided coming out due to heat. The lowest voting took place today in the state of Bihar. In this state, only 47.49 percent voters exercised their right to vote.
Firing in Manipur
Manipur, which has been a victim of communal violence for the past one year, also witnessed violence on the voting day today. A booth was fired at by the socialists in Morang assembly constituency of this state. It is said that three people were injured. Trinamool Congress has accused BJP workers of violence in Cooch Behar area of West Bengal. Only one constituency, Naxal-hit Bastar in Chhattisgarh, held voting today.
