There is a shocking news for WhatsApp users. Everyone’s favorite messaging app WhatsApp will no longer work on some older smartphones. This may cause millions of users to lose their important messages. WhatsApp always provides security and privacy updates to its app. As part of that, the company has now decided to discontinue the service on phones with some older operating systems. Due to this, WhatsApp will not work on phones with operating systems older than Android 4.0 and iPhone 11.

WhatsApp has not yet announced the official list of phones on which the service will be discontinued. But according to some leaked information, around 35 phones will have this service discontinued. It also has phones from major companies like Samsung, Apple, Motorola, Sony, LG and Huawei.
