Modi government will make efforts to grow the e-vehicle ecosystem in India. For this, the government is going to focus on promoting the production of these vehicles in India and building a large charging infrastructure. Meanwhile, though the finance minister emphasized on generation and charging infrastructure; However, no announcement was made regarding vehicle subsidy. Therefore, the common people’s hope that the subsidy on electric cars will increase has disappeared.

Finance Minister has announced to increase the number of electric vehicle charging stations. This will also provide opportunities to existing vendors and new entrants in the field. It is said that this will also increase employment at electric charging stations.
