An idol of Ramlalla will be installed in this temple. Against that backdrop, Larsen Toubro has revealed the astonishing details of the temple’s construction. The temple, situated in an area of 70 acres, is an important parameter in this type of construction, according to larson Toubro.
Measuring 161 feet high, 380 feet long and 249 feet wide, the three-storied temple consists of Nritya Mandapam, Gudh Mandapam, Kirtan Mandapam, Ranga Mandapam and Prathanna Mandapam as well as the main shikhar. It is constructed from pink Bansi Paharpur stones quarried in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. This temple is designed to withstand even a major earthquake.
This temple is supported on 390 pillars and ten thousand idols and mythological stories are carved on them. The construction of the temple started in May 2020, on August 5, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhumi Poojan of the temple. Iron and steel were not used in the construction of the foundation of this temple, so this temple will not rust.
After that, a 21-feet-high square has been erected above the ground using granite stones. 26,500 stones of different sizes were brought for the temple. After 15 hundred artisans carved it, the stones were perfectly aligned in the temple area. We are grateful to Central Government, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Ram Janmabhoomi Pilgrimage Trust and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Officer Architect Bhupendra Mishra as well as Sampat Rai of Vishwa Hindu Parishad for giving us this opportunity at the time of National Dedication of the temple. It is because of them that the wonders in the field of construction and engineering could stand. This temple is built in such a way that it will last for a thousand years.
