In the wake of the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya, many luminaries have started investing their money in the city. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan also seems to have joined it.

It is reported that Amitabh has purchased a vast plot worth Rs 14.50 crore in Ayodhya. According to official documents, Amitabh has bought a piece of land in Saryu in Ayodhya. Amitabh has invested in a project developed by Mumbai-based builders Lodha.

The land purchased by Big B is spread over 10,000 square feet. Amitabh sealed the deal by paying Rs 14.50 crore.

According to The Saryu’s official website, the property is just a 15-minute drive from Ramjanmabhoomi Temple. And it is being developed on the banks of the sacred Saryu River.

Big B is now eager to build a house on the purchased land. In an official statement, he noted, “Ayodhya holds a special place in his heart. The spirituality and cultural richness of Ayodhya has created an emotional connection across geographical boundaries.

This is a beginning to enter the soul of Ayodhya. Tradition and modernity seamlessly go hand in hand in Ayodhya. I look forward to making my home in the spiritual capital of the world.”
