Everyone loves to eat something healthy and tasty for breakfast. South Indian food is considered very good for breakfast. Meduvada being one of these is a favorite of many. If you are tired of eating idli and dosa, you can make semolina (Rava) meduvada.

This semolina (Rava) meduvada is very tasty to eat. Meduvada made from Udid dal is tasty to eat but difficult to digest. So, meduvada made from semolina (Rava) can be the best option for breakfast.

Meduvada made from semolina (Rava) is easy to digest and is also crunchy. You can definitely try this meduvada with sambar or coconut chutney. So let’s know the recipe of meduvadya made from semolina (Rava).

The ingredients required for making Rava (semolina) Meduvada are as follows

• 1 cup fine semolina

• 1 cup of water

• Half a spoon of cumin

• A pinch of black pepper

• 1 tsp oil

• 1 teaspoon lemon juice

• Finely chopped coriander

• 2-3 green chillies finely chopped

• curry leaves

• Salt to taste

• Oil for frying

The correct method of making Rava (semolina) Meduvada is as follows:

• First of all we have to cook the semolina (Rava). For this, add water, oil and salt in a pan and mix well and let it boil.

• Now after boiling the water in this pan, add semolina (Rava) to it.

• Now fry the semolina (Rava) until it absorbs the water from the pan.

• Now close the lid and let this semolina (Rava) cook well. Once the semolina is cooked, take it out in a bowl.

• Now mix curry leaves, black pepper, cumin, chilli, finely chopped coriander and lemon juice well in this semolina (Rava).

• After that, make a big ball of this mixture and flatten it a bit. Make a hole in the middle of it.

• Now on the other side, add oil to the kadai on the gas and keep the kadai to heat.

• Once the oil is hot, deep fry the semolina balls in it on medium heat until golden.

• Your hot meduvada is ready.

• You can eat this meduvada with coconut chutney, sambar or tomato sauce.
