New Airline 'FLY91': Airline Enters Indian Service Which is From Goa

– The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has given permission to the new airline on Wednesday. Hence, Fly91 will be seen serving the passengers from now on. (DGCA on Wednesday granted the Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) to new airline Fly91)

The company is owned by Manoj Choka, co-founder of erstwhile Kingfisher. ‘Just Udo Aviation Pvt Ltd’ was given permission by the Ministry of Aviation to start air operations in the month of April last year. The name of this airline will be FLY91.

On March 2, FLY91 flew from Goa’s Manohar International Airport to Bangalore Airport. The company has decided to use the code ‘IC’. Indian Airlines used the same code from 1953 to 2011 before merging with Air India. Air operator certificate is mandatory for commercial flying. Since the company has got it, the way for passenger traffic has been cleared.

This new airline is originally from Goa. Water Canaan was saluted after Fly91’s first flight, an ATR 72-600, took off from Mopa Airport. The company has completed all the tests in AOC. The company will especially prioritize Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities in the country. The operation will be scaled up as needed.

Under the flight scheme of the government, the company has been allotted some marches. DGCA has given information in this regard. Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Nanded in Maharashtra and Agattila in Lakshadweep will be connected under the flight.
