This shocking report has been published by the organization InMobi. According to this report, people in India spend an average of one hour more on mobile phones than the rest of the world.

People around the world spend an average of 3 hours 15 minutes a day on their smartphones. So, this research revealed that people in India spend an average of 4 hours and 5 minutes a day on smartphones. It also said that around 88.10 crore people are active on mobile in India at any one time.

What is it used for?

Indians use their smartphones mostly for social media. After that, mobiles are mostly used for recording photos or videos, playing online games and watching movies/series. Overall, most of the Indian people use smartphones for entertainment. In this research, it is clear that mobile phones are least used for other work.

Internet Business

As both smartphones and internet become cheaper, users are increasing in a big way. This report predicts that the internet business in India will be worth Rs 83 lakh crore in the next 6 years. So, the smartphone business is also likely to reach 7.43 lakh crores by 2032.
