According to a Business Insider report published on Wednesday, employees in several departments in Google’s real estate and finance divisions have been affected by the cuts. The report said that employees in the affected departments are in Google Treasury, Business Services and Revenue Cash operations.

Google also cut staff in January

Google laid off hundreds of employees in January, including engineering, hardware and support teams, as the company ramps up investment in artificial intelligence offerings. Google CEO Sundar Pichai warned employees about the cuts earlier this year.
