After the accident happen Railway’s start the rescue operation, also change the the train of this route and provide the detail to passenger’s , also provide the emergency helpline number and Hospitals at Ara, Buxar, and Patna including PMCH, AIIMS, and IGIMS in the state capital have been asked to keep beds ready for the injured.
Rescue Operation Statement by Ashwini Vaishnaw :
“Rescue operation going on at war footing at Buxar derailment site. NDRF, SDRF, District administration, Railway officials, and local residents are all working as one team. Injured shifted to hospital. War room operating,”
What Compensation dead and injured will get ?
the Railways announced Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia to the next of kin of those killed in the train derailment. Rs 50,000 would also be provided to those injured, it said. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also announced Rs 4 lakh compensation to the families of those dead in the train accident.
