Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman of Bharti Enterprises, has been awarded the highest honor of Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE) by King Charles of Great Britain.

London: Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman of Bharti Enterprises, has been conferred with the highest honor of Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE) by King Charles of Great Britain. Sunil Mittal is the first Indian citizen to receive this honour.

Mittal was awarded this honor by King Charles to strengthen the relationship between India and Britain. “I am overwhelmed by this honor from King Charles. Britain and India have a historic relationship, which is now entering a new era of increased cooperation. I am committed to contribute to strengthening economic and bilateral trade relations between the two countries,” Mittal said.
