The main objective of celebrating this day is to inculcate the values and principles of the Constitution among the youth of our country in the age of western culture. Our Indian constitution has given every citizen of the country an equal right to live in an independent India.

Why Indian Constitution Day is celebrated?
On November 26, 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India. Hence, November 26 is celebrated as ‘Constitution Day of India’.
However, after the adoption of the Constitution by the Constituent Assembly, it took a few months to implement it in the country. This constitution was fully implemented on 26 January 1950. Hence, this day is celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country as Republic Day.
The tradition of celebrating Constitution Day has actually been started since 2015. So, in fact since then this day is celebrated as Constitution Day every year in our India.

What is the importance of Constitution Day?
