BJP has announced the first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. While announcing this watch list, party leader Vinod Tawde has informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. Also, the names of 195 candidates of BJP have also been announced this time.
Along with this, he also informed that as many as 195 seats in 16 states and 2 Union Territories have been decided by BJP. In this, Prime Minister Modi is going to contest the election from Varanasi. Also, 34 Union and State Ministers are going to contest the election with him.
The names of one Lok Sabha Speaker and two former Chief Ministers are also among the 195 candidates. Also this includes 28 women. There will be 47 youth candidates below the age of 50. Also, in this list there will be 27 Scheduled Castes, 18 Scheduled Tribes, and 57 OBC candidates, thus all sections of the society have been given representation in the first list, it was also said at this time.
