The year 2024 has started with a bang for Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani. Adani has surpassed all the world’s richest people in last 4 days earnings. Adani’s wealth has grown by $13.3 billion so far this year, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Of this, $7.67 billion was raised on Thursday.
Shares of Adani Group have surged after the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Adani-Hindenburg case. Before the Hindenburg Report came out in January 2023, he became the second richest person in the world with a fortune of $154 billion.
When Gautam Adani became the second richest person in the world in September 2022, his wealth had increased to Rs 12.81 lakh crore or $154 billion. But after the report, his wealth dropped drastically and he had reached the 25th position.
