BJP in Telangana: According to media reports, the vote share of BJP, which won only one seat in the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, has almost doubled. In 2018, BJP’s vote share was only seven percent, which has now increased to 13.88 percent. BJP had won two by-elections.
The party, which won one seat in the last elections (2018), contested the elections again after five years and this time won eight seats. This has been termed as the party’s success in southern politics. This party is none other than BJP. BJP has won seven more seats here than last time. The BJP has improved its position in the southern state ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
BJP also registered victory in two by-elections

Telangana BJP leader KVR has defeated Chief Minister KCR and PCC chief Revanth Reddy. KVR defeated KCR by 6,741 votes. However, three BJP MPs lost the election.
Sanjay Kumar also lost
T Raja Singh, who is always in the headlines, has won the election from Gausmahal in Hyderabad city. This is his hat-trick from Gausmahal seat. At the same time, BJP MP former state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar has lost by 3,163 votes. Nizamabad MP D Aravind lost to his BRS rival Kalvakuntla Sanjay by over 10,000 votes. Soyam Bapurao lost to BRS’s Anil Jadav.
Congress’s position is better than BJP’s
According to media reports, BJP was earlier seen as a major challenge to BRS but after Congress won Karnataka, Congress’s position in Telangana also became better than BJP. However, Congress was successful in maintaining this situation. Congress had alleged that there was a secret nexus between BJP and BRS.
Telangana BJP state president praised the party
Union minister and BJP Telangana president G Kishan Reddy praised the party’s performance in the state. He said that the party’s vote share has doubled. We have won eight seats in the state. Reddy has expressed hope that he will register a big victory in the next Lok Sabha elections. He also praised Venkata Raman Reddy.
