Flipkart will initially make this service available only to Android users. Later, this service will be available for iOS and web users in a phased manner, the company explained. Flipkart’s competitor Amazon has already launched its Amazon-Pay UPI service in India. Along with this, food delivery app Zomato has also launched its UPI service a few days ago.
This can be used
Users will be able to create a new UPI ID right from their Flipkart app. It can then be used to make shopping payments or transfer money. Due to this, there will be no need to open another app for payment while ordering from Flipkart as before. The company has said that this will make people’s shopping experience even better.
