He also presented an account of the works done by the government. She said that emphasis has been given on vaccination of women and girls. Free vaccination is being given to girls in the age group of 9 to 14 years for cervical cancer vaccination. Many schemes for childcare and pregnant mothers have been brought under one umbrella.
All Asha Sevikas and Anganwadi Sevaks will now get the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Free ration is being distributed to 80 crore people. Women’s entrepreneurship has increased by 28 percent. 33 percent reservation has been given to women in Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha. Sitharaman said that the government is trying for the development of women.

Under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, 9 crore women are contributing to the rural economy through 83 lakh small businesses. Women’s empowerment and self-reliance is thus possible. 1 crore women have become millionaires due to this scheme. They are an inspiration to others. Therefore, the scope of the scheme has been increased and now the target has been set to reach 3 crore women, Sitharaman said.

3 crore houses have been constructed under PM Awas Yojana. 70 percent houses have been given to rural women under PM Awas Yojana. 2 crore houses will be constructed in the next 5 years. The Modi government is committed to ensure that everyone gets a home. Milk production farmers have started a new scheme. 38 lakh farmers have benefited from Kisan Sampad Yojana. She said that loans of 34 lakh crores have been given for self-employment.
