The 69th Filmfare Awards kicked off with an event in Gujarat on Saturday. Everyone waits for this award show which is held every year. This two-day award show has been organized in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Apart from this, the main awards will also be announced this evening. Meanwhile, the technical awards at Filmfare were announced last night. See the complete list of winners.

Along with Karan Johar, many big stars attended the Filmfare Awards ceremony including Janhvi Kapoor, Ganesh Acharya, Aparshakti Khurana, Zareen Khan and Karishma Tanna. Actors Aparshakti Khurana and Karishma Tanna were also present in Gujarat for the 69th Filmfare Awards show.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fel was the most talked about film at the 69th Filmfare Awards. It was seen that this film won many awards in its name. He has been awarded for Best Screen Play. Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 has been awarded for the best story.

Shreyas Puranik has received the prestigious RD Burman Best Upcoming Music Talent Award at Filmfare. He won an award for Satranga in Animal. Expressing his feelings on this occasion, he said that he was very happy to receive the award named after those whom he considers as idols in music.
