Yamaha Motoroid 2: Japanese bike company Yamaha is famous for its special bikes. Yamaha cars with their attractive look and design are also popular in India. Now Yamaha has launched a new concept bike. Interestingly, this bike does not have handles. The name of this concept bike is Motoroid 2.
The design of this bike is just like the bikes seen in a science-fiction movie. The video of this bike, which has a very unique look and technology, is currently going viral on social media. Technologies such as twisting swingarm, AI facial recognition, self-balancing and gesture control have been used in this.
How to turn without a handle?
The video shows that the bike has only been given grip bars instead of handles. The young woman riding this bike is operating the bike with both hands. This bike is being turned by leaning slightly towards the direction in which it is to be turned. Actions such as pushing or stopping the bike are also being done with hand signals.
Due to the facial recognition technology in this bike, this bike can recognize its owner. These features are activated as soon as the owner’s face is scanned. Also, due to Self Balancing Technology, this bike can come to its owner automatically, and also does not need a stand to stand it up.
The first version of the MOTOROiD bike was introduced by Yamaha in 2017. Now another version of this has been brought out. The company said that this bike will be instrumental in creating a different and special relationship between machine and human. Just like a pet walks side by side with its owner, this bike will also walk with its owner.
Being a concept bike, there is still no clarity on whether it will actually be launched. However, Yamaha has certainly given us a glimpse of what the bikes of the future will look like with the creation of the concept bike.
