History of Angkor Wat

A fusion of Hindu and Buddhist cultures, this temple has great cultural and spiritual significance. Lakhs of devotees of both religions visit this temple. Siem Reap International Airport (REP) is now the closest airport to Angkor Wat. The airport is about 40 kilometers east of the complex.
