Virender Sehwag ICC Hall of Fame: Former Team India cricketer Virender Sehwag is counted among the most aggressive opening batsmen in the world. Virender Sehwag has played many memorable innings in his career. But now the International Cricket Council has given a big honor to Virender Sehwag.
Sehwag has been inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. Apart from Sehwag, former Indian women’s team player Diana Edulji and Sri Lanka legend Arvinda de Silva have also been inducted into the ‘Hall of Fame’. With this, the total number of players included in the ‘Hall of Fame’ has increased to 112.

Virender Sehwag and Diana Edulji are the first seven Indian players to have received the honour. In 2021, Vinu Mankad got a place in this list. Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar received this honor in July 2019. Rahul Dravid received this honor in 2018 and Anil Kumble in 2015. Bishan Singh Bedi and Sunil Gavaskar were inducted into the inaugural ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2009. This honor was given to Kapil Dev in 2010.
