Producer Dinesh Vijan, director Amar Kaushik and writer Niren Bhat have been successful in combining comedy with horror. How modern have they become in the male-dominated culture, this is what shows in end of movie. The story of this film takes place in the village of Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh.

The second part begins in the same Chanderi village where the first part ended. The episode begins with a letter coming to Rudra Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi). That letter is an indication that a big crisis is coming to Chanderi village. The letter contains a warning like a secret message. Rudra Bhaiya and Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) are then wondering who could have sent the letter. On the other hand, each and every girl in the village keeps disappearing. A demon named Sarkata, is slowly taking possession of the girls of this village. Naturally, a kind of panic moment is created in the village.

Director Amar Kaushik has beautifully staged this story on screen. So the audience is well entertained. Producer Dinesh Vijan, director Amar Kaushik and writer Neeren Bhatt have tried to give a double dose of horror and comedy and their efforts have been well supported by strong and strong performances by the actors.

Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee have done a bang in this movie. Their on-screen chemistry is perfect. The timing of his humor is impeccable. The special thing is that Abhishek Banerjee has done a great job in the role of Jana. It goes that this is his best performance so far. Shraddha Kapoor has also captured the nuances of the role well. The actor Pankaj Tripathi always plays his roles well. Whether the role is sensitive or humorous as well as small or large. In every role, he eats the emotion. He has played the role of Rudra in this film in his own style.

Rajkumar Rao has established himself well in the Hindi film industry. One of his best films is the franchise of Stree. Aparshakti Khurana is improving his acting day by day. This is proved by the role in this film. Akshay Kumar has a surprise cameo in the film. Seeing him suddenly on screen is a wonderful experience. Also, Varun Dhawan is seen turning into a wolf and confronting Sarkat. Tamannaah Bhatia’s short entry is heartwarming. Composer Sachin Jigar’s music tunes are beautifully composed. The film has a great soundtrack. Therefore, a different thrill has been created in the film. Cinematography is well done. The first half of the film is crisp and crunchy.

A Few Criticisms

While the film is largely successful, the climax is stretched out and could have been more concise. Additionally, Shraddha Kapoor’s character could have been further developed.

Overall, Stree 2 is a must-watch for fans of the genre and a testament to the power of combining horror and comedy.
