Akshay Kumar’s amazing performance in Sarfira after a long time, you will be forced to clap after seeing his performance

Sarfira Review: Akshay Kumar's 150th film, Based on Jagannath Mhatre

Film : Sarfira

Cast : Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal

Director : Sudha Kongara

Story of the Sarfira

The story of Sarfira is based on Veer Jagannath Mhatre, a middle-class man from a small village in Maharashtra, who dreams big to launch a low-cost airline. Veer believes that someone has to take responsibility to bring about change and end oppression. He then joins the Indian Air Force after a fight with his father and leaves it too and thinks of launching his own airline.

Review

Kongara’s story will make you clap and get emotional. The film highlights and celebrates Veer’s journey. Pooja Tolani’s dialogues are not that special, but will still make you a little emotional. The humor will also make you laugh. The screenplay that Kongara has written with Shalini Usha Devi gets a little complicated, especially when it switches between different timelines like Veer’s young days, his struggle with his father, his marriage proposal and then the present day.

The flashbacks in the film are confusing, but Akshay’s looks help a bit in understanding the sequence.

Performance

Akshay’s performance has been seen on the big screen after a long time. Although he showed such a style in Rakshabandhan and Mission Raniganj, the way he has come out in Sarfira will really impress you. The charm that Radhika Madan added to the character was successful. Paresh Rawal has played the villain in the film, but he could not do that well. His and Akshay’s face-off was also seen less.

Conclusion

The second half of the film gets a little long. However, you will be hooked to the film due to the narrative, cuts and editing of the film. If you ignore this, the story of the film is quite good. In the end, you will feel happy and proud seeing Veer’s achievement. This is a perfect family film. At the end of the film, there is a surprise for you which you must watch.

Twitter Review
