Rohit Sharma has been given the captaincy for the T20 World Cup. On the other hand, Virat Kohli will be seen playing his pivotal role. However, both the star players may retire from T20 international cricket after the World Cup.
According to a report by SportsTak, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will show their final performances in the upcoming 2024 World Cup. Even if they get the ICC trophy, both the players will fight the T20 international cricket. So it has to be said that this is a matter of great disappointment for his fans all over the country.

In the 2024 World Cup, India is in Group A and will face Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and the United States. The semi-finals will be held on June 26 and 27 in Guyana and Trinidad respectively. The final will then be played at Kensington on June 29. So the fans are eagerly waiting for these matches.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli made a comeback in the T20I series against Afghanistan earlier in the year. This was his last T20 before the 2024 World Cup. Due to Hardik Pandya’s injury, it is said that Rohit Sharma has been given the leadership of the T20 team. On the other hand, Virat Kohli has silenced the critics with his performance in the IPL matches. However, it is seen that his strike rate has decreased.
Rohit Sharma was eager to include Virat Kohli in the T20 World Cup team, according to a Sports Tak report. 35-year-old Virat has scored 1141 runs in 25 matches. Which includes 14 fifties. Rohit Sharma has scored 963 runs in 36 matches. Which includes nine fifties.
