A 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Nepal on Friday night, with tremors felt in several parts of northern India, including the Indian capital, Delhi. It is known that 128 people have died in this earthquake so far in Nepal. 70 people lost their lives during the night. The death toll is likely to rise.

It is also reported that more than 150 people were injured. 36 people have died in Rukum West and 34 in Jajarkot. Rukum West DSP Namraj Bhattarai and Jajarkot DSP Santosh Rokka have given this information with reference to the news agency ANI. the earthquake that occurred around 11.32 pm on Friday, many people had to leave their homes. The epicenter of the earthquake was about 227 km north of Ayodhya in Nepal and 331 km north-west of Kathmandu at a depth of 10 km.
Nepal has been hit by an earthquake for the third time in a month.

Meanwhile, tremors were also felt in parts of Noida and Greater Noida, adjacent to Delhi, forcing many people living in high-rise buildings to come out. Apart from Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, Basti, Barabanki, Firozabad, Amethi, Gonda, Pratapgarh, Bhadohi, Bahraich, Gorakhpur and Deoria districts, tremors were also felt in Bihar’s Katihar, Motihari and Patna.
