Gulmohar Won Best Hindi Film National Award
The 70th National Film Awards have been announced, with several acclaimed films and talented artists receiving well-deserved recognition. Paresh Mokashi’s Marathi film ‘Valvi’ has clinched the prestigious Best Film award.
National Film Awards 2024 winners list
The winners of the 70th National Film Awards were announced today on August 16 at the National Media Center in New Delhi on Friday. Many films and actors from every cinema were nominated in it. Now finally the list of winners has been announced. The best director award went to Suraj Barjatya for his film ‘Unchai’. Poniyin Selvan I, KGF 2, Brahmastra and Aparajito were also honored with awards.

Best Marathi Movies: Actors Swapnil Joshi, Anita Date, Subodh Bhave and Shivani Surve’s movie ‘Valvi’ has been honored with National Award. This film has made a mark on the national cinema.
The best music: Bollywood composer Pritam won the Best Music Award for the Hindi film ‘Brahmastra’ at the 70th National Film Awards.
Best Malayalam Movies: Malayalam film ‘Saudi Vellakka’ has won the Best Malayalam Film Award.
Best Screenplay Malayalam Movie: At the 70th National Film Awards, the Malayalam film ‘Attam’ won the Best Screenplay Award.
Best Hindi Movie: In Bollywood, ‘Gulmohar’ starring Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore has been awarded the National Award for Best Hindi Film.
Best Odisha Movies: ‘Daman’ is the best Odisha film. The film won the National Award for Best Odisha Film.
Best Punjabi Movies: Baaghi Di Dhi won the Best Punjabi Film Award at the 70th National Film Awards.

Best Tamil Movies: ‘Poniyin Selvan 1’ has won the Best Tamil Film award at the 70th National Film Awards.
Best Telugu Movies: ‘Kartikeya 2’ won the Best Telugu Film Award at the 70th National Film Awards.
Special mention to Manoj Bajpayee: Manoj Bajpayee received a Special Notable Award for Gulmohar.
Non Feature Film Awards: ‘On the Brink Season 2’ won the Best Non-Feature Film promoting social and environmental values and ‘Murmurs of the Jungle’ won the Best Documentary.
