IPL 2024 Playoffs Tickets

The Indian Premier League 2024 tournament is now in its final stage. The league matches of this tournament will end on May 19. After that, the playoffs will begin next week from May 21. Meanwhile, before that BCCI has made a big announcement about online ticket sales.

The first qualifier match of the IPL 2024 playoffs will be held on May 21, while the eliminator will be played on May 22. Both these matches will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After that, the second qualifier will be played on May 24, while the final will be played on May 26. The second qualifier and the final will be played in Chennai.

Meanwhile, tickets for both the qualifiers and eliminator matches in the playoffs will be available online on the evening of May 14. But on May 14, the tickets will be available only for Rupay card holders. After that, these tickets will be available for all from May 15.

Also on May 20, final match tickets will be available for online purchase for RuPay card users, while from May 21, final match tickets will be available for online purchase for all. All these tickets will be available after 6 PM from the given date.

For cricket fans, match tickets will be available on the official IPL website, Paytm App, Paytm Insider App and Insider.in.

BCCI also informed that Paytm has been appointed as the official ticketing agency for the playoff matches.

Format of IPL Playoffs

Meanwhile, the top four teams in the points table after the league matches enter the IPL playoffs. The top two ranked teams play the first qualifier match. The team that wins this match qualifies directly for the final, while the losing team gets another chance.

The teams finishing third and fourth in the points table have to play an eliminator match. The team that wins these matches qualifies for the second qualifier, while the losing team ends the challenge.

Meanwhile, a second qualifier match is played between the loser of the first qualifier and the winner of the eliminator, with the winner playing the final match against the winner of the first qualifier.
