He was injured in the match against Bangladesh. He could bowl only three balls in that match. His ankle was injured.

ICC confirms Hardik’s exclusion from World Cup. India currently have two more matches to play in the league round. Team India will play South Africa on November 5 and Netherlands on November 12. The Indian team has also qualified for the semi-finals

Last month, Hardik injured his left ankle while bowling against Bangladesh in Pune. Prasidh Krishna has been included in the team in place of Hardik.
