Google’s much-awaited annual developer event took place on Tuesday night. At this event, Google announced several products and features related to Gemini. Gemini is Google’s AI model. At the time, Google CEO Sundar Pichai claimed that around two billion people around the world are using Gemini.

Gemini 1.5 Pro
Google recently launched the latest version of its Gemini AI model. Sundar Pichai explained that Gemini 1.5 Pro version will now be available to everyone through Gemini Advanced. This version has a context window of 1 million tokens. Actually the contexts window of this model is 2 million tokens. But this will only be available to developers.

Gemini App
Google’s Gemini app has some new features. The app can now also have audio interactions with users. This feature is named Live. This feature will work just like GPT-4o. Google explained that the response of the Live feature will be very similar to natural speech. Not only this, but the Gemini app can also decide a few things for its users. The app can do things like planning a trip, searching for a restaurant, etc.
Gemini in Camera and Google Photos
Google has also made Gemini features available for its Camera and Google Photos apps. These apps are now more advanced due to AI features. You can open the Google Camera app and ask the AI a question directly. Not only this, the AI will also be able to remember what you have seen with the camera. That is, if you take a picture of the room with your camera, and it shows the remote. After asking this AI, it can immediately tell where the remote is placed in the room.
With the introduction of AI in Google Photos, it has become more advanced. Now you can ask Google Photos directly what your car number is; It will instantly go through all your photos and find the car photos and tell you your car number from the number plate on it.
Along with this, Google announced many things like Gemini 1.5 Flash for small and quick tasks, Gemini for Workspace, Google Audio Overview, Imagen 3 in AI Labs, new video AI Tool in this event. Pichai explained that these features will be launched soon and will be available to everyone.
