What is the process?
• For this you first need to visit the official website of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).
• Login and register as a public user here.
• After this complete the sign-up process and log-in to your account.
• After this select Fancy Number.
• After that reserve your number by paying the required fee for registration.
• Then bid for the VIP number of your choice.
• Winners are announced after the auction process is over. If your bid is the highest, you can get the number by paying the remaining amount.
• If you do not get allotment, you will get refund of registration fee.
Each state has a fixed base price for the VIP car number. Bidding starts from this base price. You don’t need to go to RTO office as all this process is online.
