BSNL Network Update
Due to increase in mobile recharge rates by private mobile network companies, huge dissatisfaction is being expressed by the consumers. In the beginning of the month, there was a huge increase in the recharge rates. This directly affected the mobile users, as an alternative, the mobile users switched their mobile network to other cheaper networks.
Considering all these aspects, BSNL has now entered the competition of 5G network. BSNL is offering 4G network. Some customers have ported the card to BSNL after the increase in mobile recharge rates. But since customers who want 5G network, some customers are satisfied with the existing private network.
A significant change is taking place in the telecom sector in India. State-owned telecom company BSNL is all set to launch 5G services in India soon. Teaming up with an indigenous startup, BSNL is in the final stages of testing 5G services in various cities across the country.
Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia successfully tested this 5g network. They interacted on a video call using BSNL 5g network. Scindia shared the video on x.

During this three-month trial period, the focus will be mainly on unauthorized networks. Testing will be done at locations such as Connaught Place, Sanchar Bhawan, JNU Campus, IIT, and India Habitat Center in Delhi, government offices and indoor offices in Bangalore, as well as selected locations in Gurgaon and IIT in Hyderabad.
Service with 700MHz band of BSNL
The service will initially be provided in this test area with BSNL’s 700MHz band. Also, BSNL is all set to offer 5G service testing for the public. VoICE, an organization comprising member companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tejas Network, VNL, Coral Telecom, HFCL, has held a meeting with BSNL in this regard.
Infrastructure of BSNL
BSNL will provide spectrum, towers, batteries, power supply and other infrastructure for this test. With this initiative of BSNL, 5G services are likely to be available in the country soon.
This initiative of BSNL will usher in a new era in the telecom sector in India. 5G services will boost the digital revolution in the country, providing high speed internet, development of new technologies and will contribute greatly to the economic growth of the country.
BSNL’s 5G network services can bring about changes in many areas. There will be a big change in the telecom sector. Because after the launch of BSNL’s 5G service, uncountable number of users are likely to switch their network to BSNL. This 5G service of BSNL can be cheaper compared to other private networks.
