Neurons are cells that transmit information to the brain and body using electrical and chemical signals. The US Food and Drug Administration last year gave Neuralink company permission to try implanting the chip in the brain. Then in September, Neuralink said it had received permission to test it on a paralyzed patient.
Brain Computer Interface A brain-computer interface (BCI) is implanted in a specific part of the brain. An attempt is made to gain control over the cells that signal to move. According to Neuralink, their primary purpose is to simply use a computer cursor or keyboard using your thoughts.
