Atishi Marlena has been entrusted with the responsibility as the Chief Minister of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal proposed his name in a meeting of AAP MLAs on Tuesday and all have unanimously approved it.

Born in Delhi, Atishi’s father Vijay Singh was a professor at Delhi University. Atishi did her schooling at Springdale School in New Delhi. Graduated in History from St. Stephen’s College. After that, she completed her master’s degree from Oxford University on a Chevening scholarship.

After completing her education, Atishi spent seven years in a village in Madhya Pradesh. There she connected with organic farming and progressive farming. she worked with voluntary organizations. There she met Aam Aadmi Party workers and after that she switched to AAP.

According to information available on National Election Watch site (https://www.myneta.info/delhi2020/candidate.php?candidate_id=8811), Atishi Marlena has only Rs 20,000 in cash, bank and other financial deposits. The firm has more than Rs 1 Crore 41 Lakhs. However, this also includes her husband’s income.
Atishi Marlena has two bank FDs worth Rs 39 lakh in her name. she has taken an insurance policy worth more than Rs 5 lakh in her name. Surprisingly, Atishi Marlena does not own any car, jewelry or any other assets. she has not taken any loan from any bank.
