The company blocked 14 million stolen credit cards
The company said it has blocked 14 million stolen credit cards and frozen 3.3 million accounts that used these cards. In addition, the company has stopped 3.5 million stolen credit card purchases by 2023. During this period, it banned 1.1 million accounts that were trying to secretly shop.
Apple said in a report that due to Apple Store rules, fraud with users is decreasing, with the company terminating about 374 million developer and consumer accounts in 2023. About 91 thousand developers have also been denied registration due to fraud issue. The company blocked more than 1 lakh 18 thousand accounts in 2023 to prevent them from developing fraudulent apps.
