Bomb scare Inorbit Mall Navi Mumbai
An e-mail about a bomb in Inorbit Mall in Vashi created a stir in Navi Mumbai. On getting information about the incident, the Navi Mumbai police on Saturday evacuated the entire mall and conducted a thorough search for the bomb.

On getting information about the incident, the Navi Mumbai police on Saturday evacuated the entire mall and conducted a thorough search for the bomb. No bomb-like object or any suspicious object was found during the investigation. After three in the afternoon, Inorbit Mall was reopened.

Today at 11.59 AM on the official e-mail ID of the mall, an anonymous e-mail was received with the content ‘…Hello there I planted bombs in the building Every person inside the building will be killed…’ Navi Mumbai police and fire brigade immediately rushed to the spot.

The bomb squad was also rushed to the spot. After that, the mall was immediately evacuated. Navi Mumbai ‘ATS’, ‘BDDS’ and ‘Dock Scod’ team started checking the entire mall. No bomb-like or suspicious items were found during the investigation.

Names of 26 malls across the country
Deputy Commissioner of Police Pankaj Dahane informed that names of 26 malls across the country including Inorbit Mall in Vashi are in this mail. He said that further investigation is going on regarding this incident. Former MLA Sandeep Naik visited the spot and took information from the police.
