Technology
Which task takes the most time in the modern age of technology? The answer is – to charge electronic devices! But what if you could charge your mobile or laptop in just a minute? Sounds unbelievable right? But it’s true!
Ankur Gupta, an Indian scientist working at the University of Colorado, USA, has discovered a new technology. With the help of this technology we can charge our mobiles and laptops in just one minute. Not only this, your electric car battery can also be charged in just 10 minutes using this technique.
How is this possible you say?
While in the research done by Ankur Gupta, he studied the movement of ultra-fine particles (ions) flowing with electricity. They hypothesized that by increasing the charging and discharging speed of these particles, the ability to store and use energy in devices such as supercapacitors could be increased. Simply put, the faster movement of these particles increases the charging speed.

This discovery also redefines Kirchhoff’s Law as learned so far. This rule gives information about electric current. But according to Ankur Gupta’s research, ions are particles that flow in a different way. Their speed and direction depend on both the electric field and diffusion.
