There is a good news for you if you have a pensioner in your family or you are a government employee yourself. For the convenience of pensioners (who are benefiting from pension), the government in collaboration with State Bank of India i.e. SBI has launched a new online portal called ‘Integrated Pensioner Portal’. Know what is this portal and what facilities it will have?
The ‘Integrated Pensioner Portal’ will bring payment services and pension processing of five banks at one place. A statement from the Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare said that the portal has been launched to digitize pension services and make life easier for pensioners.
What is Integrated Pension Platform?
The main objective of this portal is to bring transparency and efficiency in pension related services. This may include personal and service related details of the pensioner. Apart from this, pensioners will be informed about their pension approval through SMS or email so that they are aware of the entire process.
It aims to fully digitize the pension process and payments. It provides the pensioner with the facility to submit his documents online, send them to DigiLocker and issue the PPO electronically.

With the launch of the ‘Integrated Pensioner Portal’, pensioners belonging to five banks will be able to view their pension related details like submission status of life certificate, Form-16, details of amount paid and received and pension slip.
On this retired employees can view their monthly pension slips as well as status of submission of life certificate and Form-16. Earlier this facility was only for SBI pensioners, but now pensioners of SBI, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank and Canara Bank can also avail this portal.
