New Delhi: When will the Supreme Court take a decisive step towards digitization today? When was that lawsuit filed? It has been announced that this information will be sent to lawyers through WhatsApp. This will greatly improve the process of court work and also save paper.
The Chief Justice announced the merger of WhatsApp with the ‘Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services’ created by the Supreme Court today during the hearing of a case. The Chief Justice also shared the WhatsApp number of a senior officer of the Supreme Court during this hearing.

When will the cases related to the advocates and petitioners who are registered in the Supreme Court be heard? Also when exactly was that lawsuit filed? Details of important orders and results will be sent through WhatsApp. These messages will also be sent to all members of the Bar Council through the Registry. After the judgment of a case is published on the website of the Supreme Court, its details will be sent through WhatsApp. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta while welcoming this initiative called it a revolutionary step.
