YouTube Videos Removed
It has come to light that YouTube has taken a big action against India for not following its community guidelines. In just three months, YouTube has deleted 22.5 lakh videos. A report has revealed that the biggest action was taken against India among 30 countries. The report was released on Tuesday.
YouTube took this action in the last quarter of 2023. In the three months between October and December, 12.43 lakh videos were deleted from Singapore, while 7.88 lakh videos from the US were deleted. Iraq was the last country in this list. 41,176 videos were deleted during operations in Iraq.

During the same period, YouTube deleted 9 million videos worldwide. 53.46 percent of these videos did not get a single view. Also, 27.07 percent of these videos got one to ten views. Along with this, YouTube also removed around two crore channels sharing spam content. Also, it is clear in this report that 110 crore comments have been deleted by the company.
YouTube gave an explanation
YouTube’s Community Guidelines are applied globally. Non-compliance will result in actions being taken against videos and in some cases channels. The company has explained that at this time it is not seen who the uploader is and which country he belongs to. YouTube uses machine learning and thousands of employees for this.
