The stock market has hit a new record high on Monday. Major market indices are trading at higher levels. For the first time Sensex has crossed 73000 and Nifty has crossed 22000. Most purchases in the market are in the IT sector. Wipro has 10 percent upper circuit. HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra gained 4 percent each.
Status of Sensex Shares
Out of 30 shares in Sensex, 25 shares are rising and only 5 shares are trading with decline. Among the top gainers in the Sensex were Wipro up 11.46 percent and Tech Mahindra up 6.26 percent. Shares of HCL Tech gained 3.69 percent and Infosys 3.01 percent. TCS is trading up 2.03 percent and HDFC Bank up 1.41 percent.
Nifty IT at new highs
IT stocks are witnessing record highs and IT stocks are trading around 3 percent higher in the stock market. After a bounce of more than 1000 points, the IT index was above 37550. IT shares are the top gainers in the stock market today.
In early trade on Monday, Nifty Midcap 100, BSE Small Cap, Nifty IT and Nifty Bank indices rose. Shares of Infosys, ONGC, Tech Mahindra and LTI Mindtree rose today.
Investors will be keeping an eye on shares of Jio Financial, Angel One, Kesoram Industries and PABL today as the third quarter results of these companies are out.
Stock market experts say that the Bank Nifty will touch the 50,000 mark soon. Stock market experts say that Nifty may soon see the 22400 mark level.

Brand Concept, LIC, Finolex Cable, Infosys, Jio Financial, Patel Engineering, Uni Parts India, Globus Spirit, HDFC Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Kotak Mahindra, Bank, Stove Craft, Devyani International and Engineers India in early stock market trading. Ltd.’s shares have risen.
Shares of ICICI Bank, Nestlé, Exide Industries, Kamdhenu Limited, HDFC Life and Om Infra declined.
Shares of 7 out of 10 Adani group companies traded higher, while shares of Adani Wilmer, NDTV and Adani Total Gas declined.
