How does cold feel?
According to experts, humans feel cold most on the skin. Due to this, the hairs on our body stand up and the fingers and toes become numb. Our skin is the first to feel the change in outside temperature. Thermo-receptor nerves present under our skin send messages of cold to our brain. The waves emanating from the skin reach the hypothalamus of the brain, which is helpful in maintaining the balance of the internal temperature of the body and the environment.Due to this balance, the hairs on our body stand up and the muscles start contracting.

Due to this reason one feels more cold:
Actually, it is related to the internal capacity of the body. Due to hypothermia, one feels more cold. The nerves present under the skin send signals of cold to the brain, due to which the brain prevents the temperature inside the body from falling. The brain sends messages to all the organs of our body that the temperature is falling and they should be protected. After this all the muscles of the body reduce their speed. Our body is not able to bear the extreme drop in temperature.
According to experts, if the temperature drops too much then many parts of the body stop working. Many times, this can lead to multi-organ failure, which can even lead to death of a person. This type of extreme cold is called ‘hypothermia’, due to which a person can even die.
This is why the body trembles:
When our body organs work slowly, they generate more metabolic heat. Due to this, our body suddenly starts shivering, which means that the body is balancing the internal and external temperature.
